An editorial journey dedicated to discovering the Oriental cultural and literary heritage
Kamasastram was born from a passion for the foundational texts of Oriental civilizations. Initially an academic research project, it evolved into a platform dedicated to the general public, with the aim of making classical works and related cultural analyses accessible.
We launched the first series of monographic studies, covering Sanskrit literature, Chinese philosophy, and Persian poetry. This stage marked the transition from a niche blog to a publishing house recognized for its academic rigor and narrative accessibility.
We expanded our activity through online events, reading workshops, and collaborations with international specialists. The goal was to create a space for interdisciplinary dialogue, where historical tradition is analyzed through a contemporary lens.
Today, Kamasastram continues to publish reference studies and facilitate access to the Oriental cultural heritage. We focus on annotated translations and exploring the connections between different literary traditions, building a lasting bridge between the past and the present.
